I read the history and read about the Indus civilizations, how strange it was that earlier people used to live there, how they used to live their lives, temples were found there, people’s utensils, remains of houses were found, Indus civilization was discovered by Daya Ram Sahni.

The residents of this place were Dravidian and Mediterranean, these people used to worship, how strange it seems when I read about them.

It is very strange to see their houses that their houses used to open towards the back. These people used to grow wheat and sorghum, rice was also their crop, they used honey.

Today I wonder how their life must have been spent. The first animal was their dog, the remains of a horse were also found. These people used to carry goods in a four-wheeled cart, buffalo cart, bullock cart.

People of Indus civilization used to worship the earth, worship trees, and used to worship Lord Shiva, even today how similar is our civilization to those people.

The Indus society was matriarchal, in which the place of women was very respected, these people used cotton and woolen clothes.

Fishing, hunting, fighting of animals and birds, playing chaupar and dice were their entertainment.

Purdah system, prostitution was also prevalent

These people used to bury or burn their dead bodies
