Milkha Singh was a runner. He was also known as Udan Sikh. People all over the world started knowing him because of his long hair.

He had to struggle a lot in his life. He was one of 15 brothers and sisters.

He was born on 20 November 1929 in Govind Pura Pakistan, when India and Pakistan were not divided.

He died of covid on 18 June 1921
