How I reached Tirupatiwala ji in Andhra Pradesh

Today I present to you a memory which has come alive.

We left for Tirupati Balaji in December during the winter season. It was cold in Kolkata at that time. Now we were going to Andhra Pradesh. We had booked ordinary seats. The train was getting crowded but it was also empty. We were traveling comfortably, all were good people, we did not even realize during the journey that we had reached Tirupatiwala ji after a journey of two days.

Even at the station, everyone was going to the temple, but we did not think it appropriate to take a room there. We booked a bus ticket to go to the temple and boarded the bus. There was a lot of crowd in the bus and the bus was stopping again and again. Everyone was being checked. Checking was done at least 5 times. After spending three hours in the bus, we reached Tirumala.

We reached Tirumala temple after 5 hours. There was a crowd there too but we spread a sheet and sat there and bathing facility was also available there. We also took bath and went to a dhaba to have food and also had tea there. I still remember the wonderful tea made with pure milk. After that, we had dinner at a vegetarian dhaba. It was very hot there, so we took off our sweaters and kept them in our bags.

To get the room booked, we got our room booked by giving all our documents and identity cards. Near the same temple, we got a cheap room for Rs 300 for two days, there the room is available only for two days, otherwise. You can book your own hotel

We entered our room. The room was fine for all four of us. There was a place to dry clothes and food was also available. Now we quickly changed our clothes and left for the temple.

There was no understanding where to go but we stood in a long queue and entered the free queue. We did not know how to go where.

There was a lot of crowd there and we were moving in the same crowd.

Food items were available there. We had left in the morning and now we were stuck in the crowd. We were thinking that now we will come to the temple. All the people were talking about different things but we did not hear anything from anyone. Didn’t pay attention and kept moving forward

There were halts at various places, slips were being made everywhere and after taking the slips, we sat in a big room at night, waiting for darshan. We remained sitting there the whole night, we did not even have any sheet, we had all our The goods were deposited at a counter

In the morning we washed our face and hands and feet and I also took a little bath. Everyone was saying that now the door of the temple is going to open and at around 9 in the morning the door opened. It had taken us the whole day yesterday, now Balaji is in the temple. 5 hours had passed since our darshan, now we got darshan with great difficulty.

But when we had the darshan of Bala ji, we forgot all our sorrows and troubles that we had endured. What a beautiful look he had, it seemed as if Bala ji was actually present there.

Now it had taken us 12 hours to reach there and it took us 4 more hours to return from there. We had lined up for laddus, which is Prasad and we had to deposit money.

One laddu is available for Rs 20. A slip has to be made. Everyone was standing in a very long line. One person gets two laddus.

We were very late due to queuing up for Prasad and Laddus. When we came back we saw that there was another lock in our room. When we asked, an employee said that the period of your room has ended so your room has been locked. The place has been reserved and now we had to go a long distance to get the goods.

After taking our luggage we came back to Temple Dharamshala, after depositing our luggage there we had dinner and rested there and then we came near the station.
