Ratna hides at a place but Lakd Baghe sees some men and injures them with his axe.

Ratna could not see those people and by then many people of her in-laws came out and faced them with their weapons but their men were injured and they were unable to walk and they all planned to stay there for the night.

When Ratna comes out and sees, she feels very sad. Ratna’s brother-in-law asks Ratna to go to his place and tells her not to worry, nothing will happen to her. Ratna’s husband also asks Ratna to leave from there.

The night also passes. Ratna does not sleep the whole night. She did not sleep without her mother, but today there was no one with her. She remembers that night when she used to sleep with her mother. How much her mother loved her, but yesterday. She went to sleep hungry that night

No one even asks her to eat food and now it is morning, now everyone starts getting ready to go. Ratna’s doli gets up. Ratna starts sleeping in the same doli and lies down like that. Now a beautiful bird passes by Ratna. Ratna passes by and is happy to see him.

His palanquin passes through a deserted place through unpaved roads. His in-laws follow the palanquin.

Ratna wants to sleep but she is not able to sleep and she keeps waking up again and again.

She didn’t know what marriage was, she didn’t even know its meaning, she just knew that in marriage one gets some good food and new clothes.

Now her in-laws’ house has also come and that too at some distance, she realizes that her house is coming and finally her in-laws’ house comes.
