When my father used to bring lots of sweet potatoes

it was evening time

They also used coal and dry wood to heat the fire.

And then they would put a lot of big sweet potatoes in it and fry them.

Even today I remember the fragrance of sweet potatoes which spread far and wide. After that we all used to eat sweet potatoes together, it felt very good.

Nowadays, where can one get that taste of sweet potato in Kolkata? There is no wood and coal.

When sweet potatoes are available, we boil them and eat them.
