Ratna had started staying at the same place. Now Ratna had started breaking stones with a hammer. She had broken many stones with the hammer. Then a man passed by and when he saw the little girl breaking stones, he became very angry and he broke Ratna’s hand. snatched the axe 

And he held Ratna’s hand and took her to the owner of that building and told him

Aren’t you ashamed of getting such a small girl to break stones? The owner of that building said no, I didn’t ask her to break stones. 

Both of them started asking Ratna for the address of her house but Ratna started looking at both of them.  respectively
