I will always remember our wedding anniversary. Very thrilling, very fun. 

My wedding procession was supposed to come today but curfew was imposed. 4 days ago a black child of an MP was murdered and curfew was imposed to avoid any fight between Hindus and Muslims. 

The time was 20th February 1994, there was neither too much heat nor too much cold. 

I was worried that there might be a fight because the atmosphere was full of tension, things had become very expensive and it was very difficult to get anything. My father was very upset. 

The expenditure was going out of the budget, now even the Band Baaja people were not able to come because curfew was imposed in their locality. They lived in a Muslim area and some of them were Muslims too. 

The musicians had refused to come, now my in-laws were worried as to where they would bring the band from, these people had come from Kolkata and I was from Kanpur. 

Now from somewhere I found a military band player, my brother-in-law, I will get hold of him and after requesting him, I got him ready to play the instrument in the wedding procession. 

Now when I came to know that we have found the bajawala and now the wedding procession will come, one worry was removed. 

Now confectioners were not available. A small number of people were brought in as confectioners. They only knew how to cook but did not have much experience. 

I was facing a lot of problems in my marriage. 

I was in a beauty parlor and a wedding procession was going. There was a small beauty parlor nearby. 

The wedding procession was reaching home and I was in a car. I saw that the groom king was worried and all the girls looked worried. People were scared. Police were roaming all around. Danda army was also deployed. 

My brother-in-law and all the brothers-in-law who had come from far away were worried and one of my cars was passing among them. The military musicians were playing loudly and I

Now I quickly reached home and saw that my grandmother was crying. My elder brother started crying after seeing me. Now I also started crying. 

Then my younger sister said that now she will spoil the makeup, she has wasted all this money, she spent an hour in beauty parlor and you are crying. 

And now she cleaned my face with her handkerchief and cured me 

Now I had to go for Jai Mal, my husband and in-laws were waiting for me. 

Jai Maal Padde, everyone started going to eat food. I saw that everyone was eating food at a very fast pace. 

My husband Dev was hungry, his relatives ate all the food, food became less but then we had to cook food.
